Subject: Yellowwood Tree Question
Comments: I plan to put three Yellowwoods in a line about 18 feet apart in full sun all day. My house was built in 1993 and the soil where I will plant the trees is heavy clay and compacted. I plan to plant the trees by digging a hole three times the diameter of the root ball, a little less deep than the root ball and filling in with shredded topsoil. I have read that Yellowwoods have a taproot. Does this location and planting method seem like it will be successful with Yellowwoods
